The client started by asking for a darts scoring system. After deeper conversations, the real need was a full online platform covering matches, social, operations, growth and commerce — not a single tool.
On the surface it looked like “we want a scoring system.” Underneath were three experience gaps no one had taken seriously.
Legacy darts systems push everything to the cloud in real time. Once venue Wi-Fi drops or the tournament floor saturates, scoring lags, data goes missing and matches stall.
